About the host

Hosted by Odessa Russell

Host profile image
Hi I'm Odessa, and along with my husband James, we will be your hosts. I'm originally from the Philippines but have lived in Australia for 15 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and photography. I love being a host as I get to meet lots of different people from around the world, and I take great pride in trying to provide a relaxing and very clean property for people whom enjoy travelling as much as I do!

Why they chose this property

Port Macquarie is a beautiful town, with spectacular beaches and scenery. It is half-way between a counry town and a city, so it has all the amenities you could hope for, without being too overcrowded or impersonal. I really enjoy the gorgeous beaches, nature walks, and views from Tacking Point Lighthouse.

What makes this property unique

Situated in a quiet residential area, it is surrounded by trees and feels like a blend of modern convenience and nature. It is one of the few places in Port Macquarie that accomodates more than four people. A nature reserve is a one minute walk away and features a leafy duck pond, while over the hill is a vineyard which features a very nice restaurant. Very close to the hospital, University, and a supermarket, and only a short drive to the many beaches, sights and restaurants in town.
