The space
Perched on 93 acres of pristine rainforest, this grand Numinbah residence offers breathtaking 180-degree views from 650 meters. The property features three tiers: rainforest at the top, the residence in the middle, and paddocks below. Surrounded by ancient rainforest, it’s a serene retreat with panoramic views of the Caldera, including Mount Warning, Springbrook escarpment, and Mount Cougal. Just 15 minutes from Chillingham village and 30 minutes from Murwillumbah, it’s a majestic hinterland escape.Apartment 3 is the only two bedroomaparqtment available, making it ideal for groups of 2 ro 5.
Guest access
Staying in Apartment 3 allows you access to the communal fire pit and barbecue area, the central courtyard, the rainforest trails, grassy paddocks and the picturesque bottom shelf of the property.
This apartment shares a wall with the neighbouring unit, so some noise may be heard if it is occupied. For larger groups, both Apartments 2 & 3 can be co-joined to accommodate up to 8 guests. Your hosts will be quietly residing on the upper level for your convenience, ready to assist you while maintaining a discreet presence.
The villa’s spacious design allows you to either mingle with fellow guests in shared areas or enjoy peaceful solitude.
Other things to note
* Our secluded sanctuary is accessed via a beautiful, winding gravel road through rainforests, offering stunning views of mountains and valleys. A 4WD or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended, as the road is steep and rough in parts, though regular cars can also make the drive.

* We have excellent internet reception. Use your mobile data for internet access. We do not provide Wi-Fi or televisions, inviting you to take this opportunity to disconnect digitally, and reconnect with nature.

* We are a fully off-grid property, relying on nature for power and water. Please be mindful of your usage to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.
