Our charming cottage nestled in privacy beneath Cobble Hill offers a relaxing Adirondack getaway for two or a small family. Centrally located in Lake Placid's desirable Northwood neighborhood, you'll be just 1/2 mile from Mirror Lake Drive and one mile from Main Street. Set on nearly an acre, this serene cottage is a sweet surprise as you wind down the gravel drive. Close to all the action yet tucked away in the woodland, Cobble Cottage offers the best of both worlds!


The cottage boasts an open floor plan which includes a living room, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, the giant skylights that greet you with a flood of natural light (perfect for stargazing on those crisp and clear Adirondack nights! ) create an open and airy feel in the bedroom which features a queen bed and a sleeping nook with a twin bed (and trundle beneath). You'll feel like you are perched in the trees. The only bathroom is also located upstairs.

A small sun deck overlooks Cobble Hill and a picnic area on the side lawn with classic Adirondack chairs and fire pit.

The center of the Village with restaurants, shopping and venues, including the Olympic Arena, is less than one mile from Cobble Cottage. Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, Adirondack Loj base camp with access to hiking in the High Peaks, and Mt. Van Hoevenberg Nordic/Bobsled Center are all within a 15 minute drive. World-class golf is just around the corner. And for training triathletes, the IronMan bike route is mere pedals away.

Please note: the cottage is approx 900 square feet. The second floor is an open floor plan bedroom - there is no separation between the queen bed and the twin. The bathroom is separated by a door.
(Not suitable for toddlers due to low windows upstairs and high deck off main floor.)
Cobble Cottage rents by the week for only a couple months a year.
