Frustrated and Deflated
Hello VRBO,
My partner and I had a terrible stay at this location over the weekend (Sept. 19 - 22nd).
After much research, we chose this space specifically as an 'end-point' to our 33-day European experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst accommodation across our month abroad. The major issue being that our shower flooded and remained a serious issue for 3 of the 4 days of our stay. We made immediate contact with the property management to ensure they were aware of the issue. Over the next 3 days, our communication with their team was incredibly inconsistent and dismissive. They sent a technician later on during the second day (while we were out), however the issue persisted. The bathroom did not have a fan or a window. We continued to use our bathing towels to mop up the mess in an effort to protect the property. A second technician came on the third day. The shower adequately drained thereafter. Though we were able to shower during hours, the smell in the apartment was horrible; musty, humid... gross. We did everything we could to attempt air circulation. On night one, we realized the air conditioning unit did not work either.
I have evidence of my repeated efforts to speak with their team. I have repeatedly asked for fair compensation. I was passively dismissed and re-routed several times. I was supposed to hear from management today and haven't.
