The district is mainly residential, but is nevertheless visited by tourists for its many museums and remarkable places such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées and also the Arc de Triomphe. It is home to the largest number of embassies and consulates in Paris as well as world-famous sports facilities such as the Parc des Princes and the Roland-Garros stadium.
