The 2 bed/1 bath walk-out basement has a spacious living area, a kitchen, and utility room. The upper floor offers 2 bedrooms with a jack-and-jill bath along with an ultimate kids bunk room that sleeps 10! The outdoor space is great for grilling out and relaxing after a day on the lake. This property offers a retention pond on property (not accessible to Lake Barkley) for fishing, kayaking (not included), swimming, and wildlife watching. Boat rentals are available at 2 close marinas (Hubb's and Buzzard Rock). Have your own boat? The boat ramp is a 3 min drive from the house.

Kuttawa trip

This was the perfect house for our yearly family lake trip. The house is so close to Hu-B’s marina in Kuttawa and several good restaurants in Eddyville.

We rented the house as an extended family retreat and it was perfect. House was roomy with tons of space for the kids to run around on the property. House was cleaned when we arrived and communication with Brooke was a breeze! Loved our stay here. Thank you!

Beautiful home. Communication lacking.

House is beautiful and was big enough to have my whole family there and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. When we first arrived, we needed sheets for the sofa bed, called and found out the cleaning lady had them. We made do but I think some sheets should have been brought to us since we were using it. Luckily it was a 3-year-old using it and not any adults. Other issues were that at least 3 toilets had very loose bases, one toilet would continue to run if you did not jiggle the handle, loose banister leading upstairs, dryer was very slow drying. gas grill out of gas. The grill was especially frustrating since we had asked about it specifically and then to find out it was out of gas. We reached out to the owner, and we got a slow response, so went and bought more gas ourselves. Our biggest issue was communication. It was slow and sometimes nonexistent. I know these things happen, but at least apologize and try to make it right, by having sheets brought that were supposed to be there, and make sure your gas grill has gas and have a backup if it runs out, especially if you know these guests in particular are planning on using it. It was just very frustrating. //

Beautiful and spacious woodsy area and a nice 3-level house gave room for our large group

The woods and large area around the house were great play areas for our 11 grandkids! Having the foosball and air hockey tables on the lowest level was good to allow separation of the noise from a majority of the bedrooms. Having 2 kitchens was also nice for our large group when fixing meals, and 2 laundry rooms helped when clothes or towels needed to be washed. 3.5 baths with 6 bedrooms, one of which was a bunk room, served to be somewhat of a challenge for the 22 of us (plus a baby) to negotiate, especially since the bunk room slept 11 and had no bathroom off of it. We did make it work, but providing a floor plan in the future would be helpful to make plans for occupancy. The owner was very good at communicating when we had questions. All in all, we had a wonderful visit to celebrate Christmas together with our 4 children and their families who came from as far away as CA and FL!

Perfect Family Get-Together House

Very clean house! Lots of room to fit my extended family. The kitchen is very well stocked. The owner has a game closet and play room for the kids. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have a large group.

Lovely home

Our group was a mom and sisters getaway, with 8 adults and 7 kids. The home was large and very clean. It was so nice to spread out and have the space. The bunk room was such a nice play area for the little kids too. Kitchen was well appointed with all the appliances we needed. Also appreciated the pack n play for my baby. We did go to the little beach about 1/2 mile away and let the kids splash, and although it wasn't very clean (duck poop etc) it was fun for them. The roku/screen was easy to use and enjoyed by the little kids. Overall, was a wonderful stay.

Spacious Waterfront Home

We enjoyed our extended family vacation at this beautiful 11-bed home. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and the largest waterpark in Western Kentucky, just 5 minutes away! The Vrbo app/website said check-in information would be available a week out, but it was never posted. Fortunately, the owner listed their contact info on the reservation, so I was able to call and get that information over the phone before arrival (so don't worry if this happens to you). The owner was responsive and helpful during our stay, even recommending some local biking/hiking areas when I asked. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home!

Great House for large Family

Large house with 3 levels. Lots of space for 6 Adults and 5 kids to stay and relax. House was great! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Wifi only supports a few devices to connect at a time, which could be corrected by the owner. House sits on a pond, which isn't good for fishing. Lake Barkley is across the road with no fishing access. Local park a few miles away has swimming and fishing access on lake Barkley.

A fantastic rental home for a large family with kids.

Beautiful, spacious, well supplied house on pond very close to Lake Barkley.

Six families (11 adults, 1 youth, 2 toddlers, 1 infant) from 3 different states thoroughly enjoyed the comfort, spaciousness, amenities, and proximity to Lake Barkley for 3 nights. This stay was our first extended “family” vacation with hopefully many more to come.

Beautiful Lakehouse for time away!

We had a wonderful time away!! The house is beautiful in a quiet park like area! Everything was as described, house had plenty of room for everyone not to be on top of one another, even a second kitchen downstairs! The upstairs kitchen was well stocked with any appliance/dish/bowl you would need! Plenty of towels/linens, everything was extremely clean!! The deck was a relaxing spot to enjoy small lake out back! Kids loved the air hockey and foosball table along with huge tv downstairs! Along with swing and patio set to enjoy outside! Tv service/internet is spotty but that wasn’t really an issue for our family! A lamp in each room would be a nice touch, but overall a great house to relax and have some time away!!Host was very responsive in communication! Would love to stay again!
