It's has a vintage charm that is clean, bright and not lacking in amenities.

- Eat-in kitchen and private backyard with outdoor dining.

- Less than a mile to Roger Williams University.

- Enjoy Herreshoff, Blithewold & East Bay Bike Path. Foodies will also love nearby Warren.

- A short drive to Newport (12 miles), Providence, Southeastern MA and Block Island Ferry.

- Near Blithewold Mansion (1 minute), Mt Hope Farm (5 minutes) and Glen Manor (10 minutes).

The perfect central location for your visit to the Ocean State & great beaches!

At 1000 sq. ft., our small home is perfect for 2-4 guests but can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. It's perfect for couples, families and close friend groups. It's not recommended for wedding parties or attendees. There is parking for 2 cars (max) in the driveway. No extra visitors (friends, family, etc...), vehicles, parties or gatherings. Only people on the reservation are allowed at the property.

First floor (sleeps 4 guests):

2nd floor (sleeps 2 guests):

Note: The 2nd floor has *low ceilings* and is accessed via steeper stairs (see photos) that are not ideal for guests with mobility concerns. The futon provides an extra sleeping option, and is ideal for kids.

The temperature inside the house is made very comfortable via 2 new mini split AC/heat systems on each floor. Outside you can relax in the private backyard with grill, stone patio and outdoor dining table. We also provide 3 bikes when the weather is seasonable.

While there's space for up to 6 guests, please remember there is only 1 bathroom. There's no washer/dryer but several nearby laundromats and cleaners. One set of towels is provided per guest. For longer stays, you may want to bring extra towels, or request that we leave a few extra sets for you. You'll have access to the entire house (except the basement & garage).

Out of respect to our surrounding neighbors, we pay close attention to the noise levels and the number of guests & vehicles. Exterior video cameras are present. For housekeeping, insurance, and local regulations, ONLY PEOPLE on the RESERVATION are ALLOWED on the PROPERTY at ANY TIME (day/night).

Please answer our pre-booking questions to ensure a great stay for you and your guests..

- What brings you to the area, and where are you traveling from?
- How many guests & vehicles will be at the property?
- Did you read the entire listing details (no washer/dryer, steep stairs, etc..)?
- Do you have any questions about the house or amenities?
- Do you or your guests have any special requirements?

Are you attending a wedding nearby? Generally we don't host guests that are attending a wedding, or members of a wedding party. Our experience on multiple occasions has been neighborhood disruptions, undeclared guests & vehicles, and general disregard of house rules.

If you've already requested a reservation, please reply to our pre-booking message with "I'VE READ EVERYTHING!". Please use this exact response to confirm your reservation. Thank you :-)

The house is small with one bathroom but perfect for a family of three. Very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Lovely Getaway
We had a great, restful time in this charming home! We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and enjoyed the beautiful walks to downtown Bristol. The kitchen was fully equipped with the things we didn't think to bring along with us. Check in was extremely easy and owners were very friendly. Would love to stay here again.

Weekend with friends
Myself and two friends stayed at Carol’s place and it was just perfect! The house was spotless, so cutely decorated, and had everything we needed. It is in an amazing location close to both the water and the town.

Perfect
This was the perfect place to stay for our family of four! With two active kids, I appreciated that there were not a lot of easily breakable decorations. The house was neat and clean and our host provided several little extras that were much appreciated, like snacks on our arrival and shower essentials. Carol was also very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions about Bristol and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this lovely place to stay!
