Originally built in 1928, this home has been completely renovated with lustrous floors, a new kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and a welcoming modern interior. You'll love spreading out in the living room to enjoy a good game or movie with friends on the mounted flatscreen TV. Use the full kitchen to cook up something special then serve your guests in the elegant dining room. The kids can romp around the yard with the family dog while you grill up some freshly-caught fish on the private gas grill. You'll be just a short five-minute drive to the beach, so be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen for your stay. You'll find a sofa bed, a king bed, a queen, and two twin beds, and enough overall space for up to eight guests, so everyone will have plenty of elbow room and sleeping accommodations.

This home is centrally located in town near the Seawall District, Historic Strand District, and close to all of the fun nearby locations like Pleasure Pier, Schlitterbahn, and Moody Gardens. Get to know all the terrific local restaurants like Fish Company Taco, The Spot, and Gaidos Seafood Restaurant. Get out on the water with a fishing charter through Get Hooked Fishing Charters, just four miles east.

Issues with Vacasa Management Company

The home was amazing. Loved the location and spaciousness of the home. Yard (front and back) were immaculate. Amenities could have been better (fluffy towels, kitchen towels, pot holders, k-cup coffee maker, full size soap, shampoo). Keyless entry was tricky to operate. TV in every room and ceiling fans throughout made it nice. However, one of the rooms, the fan did not work, only the light portion. Overall, great experience. Would rather deal with the property owner and not Vacasa Management company for future rentals.

Great stay

It was good. Dishwasher didn’t work and there was mold in the washer machine, but we ate out every night so our stay was fantastic. And the location was fantastic!

Exactly as described

We had a great stay in Galveston. The house was extremely clean upon arrival and close enough to both the Strand/Downtown and the Beaches. Kids loved the bunk beds and all beds were very comfortable. Could have used a few more blankets in living room and bedrooms. Also had an issue with the WiFi while we were there unable to connect our personal devices. Had good communication with the property manager but the WiFi issue wasn’t resolved while we were there.
