Good landing spot

I spent 3 nights in this unit in December with my son and my sister in law. I found it to be a good spot to sleep and recharge before spending morning til night exploring Paris. If we had needed the space for anything other than sleeping and showering, I don’t think we would have been satisfied with the space, as it is small. I liked that there were two bathrooms, two showers, a washer/dryer, kitchen and felt safe, also very quiet with no road or neighbor noise. I didn’t like that in the middle of one night there was a horrible gas odor that filled the second bedroom (the one with no window) and it was so horrible, the one sleeping in that room could not sleep at all. We bought bleach and dumped it down the drain as well as ran hot water in the drain every day after that happened and the smell did not return. I messaged the host when this happened, and got to response. If you stay here, there is a restaurant called Extra Old Cafe around the corner that I went each morning for coffee and bread with jam and it was delicious and one of my favorite memories of my 3 days in Paris. Charming!

Small, quiet, efficient flat, well located and well equipped

Very glad to have found this small, efficient place for 2 weeks in Paris. Comment was excellent. The apartment was smaller than we expected, but has 2 toilets and 2 showers, laundry, and a dishwasher— which helps make up for the cramped quarters for a family of five. Kitchen was very aptly equipped, plenty of linens, and the beds are comfortable. It’s situated off a very quiet courtyard, and just a short walk to several metro lines and the RER. Plenty of amenities nearby. It’s very convenient to be on the ground floor in Paris! There were a few things about the apt that could be improved — the pillows aren’t terribly comfortable for sleeping on for two weeks, as we did. And most notably, the 2nd bedroom has no real window. It has a pane of glass that doesn’t open, so no real source for ventilation — but it does get light from the first bedroom, which has a proper window. Our stay was during a heatwave and the apartment really heats up in the daytime so it’s not really possible to spend time here during the summer day. This wasn’t a problem because we were out all day, every day — alas we needed more fans for sleeping. The apt provided 2 fans, but since we had a family member sleeping on the foldout couch, we asked for a 3rd so each ‘bedroom’ could have some cooling, but they wanted to charge extra for that, so we borrowed from family instead. The rug and sofa could use some deeper cleaning as both were a bit stained. There were no guides to the oven, dishwasher nor laundry. David might add that especially for long stays like ours. Overall: well equipped as promised, smaller than expected, but well located and very quiet — we had a good stay and are glad to have found it.

Small but efficient

This property was clean and had everything we needed for a quick family trip to Paris. It’s located very close to the metro. The place was quite small for four adults but worked. And we really appreciate the fans the property owner left as it was unusually hot during our visit. I tried to contact the property owner to ask questions about check in/check out procedures but never heard back - guessing it was because of language differences.
