Disappointing
Booked a last minute trip with my significant other, we are long distance & decided to meet in the middle for us— which is Orlando. The communication with the host was clear, quick, & helpful. Check-in was also flawless & simple. The moment I opened the door though, I was disappointed. I’m a daughter of a VRBO host. I have cleaned the property after guests more than I can count, & I could never imagine leaving our property that way for a guest who is traveling hours & giving us their hard earned money— expecting a clean & safe space to lay their head. There were some sort of ashes, dust & dirt all over the counter in the corner below the air conditioner. There was dirt visible on the floor. There was cobwebs on the one lamp. The air conditioner needs to be replaced, at the very least- thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom door is a sliding door, that doesn’t lock, not the end of the world— but it was just one thing after another I was finding with this property. The bedding was pretty bad…it was definitely clean, but was stained, and it was not as pictured, which as stated…daughter of fellow VRBO host, I understand alternating bed sets in between guests. But it was a very thin quilt. There is a TV, with no working remote— I happened to have a HMDI cord & my work laptop in my vehicle, so I was able to make do with that. The room was also a little different than advertised. I believe the photos currently uploaded are outdated. Please consider making changes for your future guests.
