Our hosts Blair & Drew could not have been more accommodating and absolutely pleasant to work with! House had everything we needed! Along with very clean! What an amazing property and we had plenty to keep us busy with lots of fishing on the property pond - where our grandson caught his first fish- walking and tons of family time! Thank you for the most awesome weekend!!
My extended family and I plus 2 pups stayed at this beautiful home for the long holiday weekend. There were 17 people, all ages, and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well-equipped and 2 fridges were a big help. Some of us spent time fishing in the pond and we all had a bonfire one night with the firewood that was left for us. Comfy beds, tons of outoor seats on the porches, and acres of land to play on were all appreciated!
This rental is a beautiful piece of property that was able to accommodate our large group. It was just a short drive away from the things to do in Bemus Point. The onsite property manager Drew was very friendly and accommodating. Due to a discrepancy between listings on different sites we were unaware that the pavilion was a separate rental. Luckily, Drew was able to help make our stay a success despite the rain. Overall, it was a great place to stay with check-in and check-out being a breeze!
The place was much better than the pictures showed. It was spacious and homey. I was there with a large group including family and friends and there was room for everyone. One thing to note, both of the bunk rooms were accessed by a spiral staircase with one of them being solely accessed from another one of the rooms which is not a problem but is nice to know when planning sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped which is not always the case. We enjoyed hiking around the property and the fire pit. The host was personable and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone.
What a spacious property! It provided us with tons of room to relax and unwind. We really liked the multiple porches, each offering a unique atmosphere to enjoy the views.
The enormous gaming table was a fantastic opportunity to get us all around the table to play some board games after our time in nearby Bemus Point.
Individual A/C units helped everyone stay comfortable; the kitchen was huge and easily accommodated our needs. Great propane grill for our burger and dog night, and next to the little pond was a nice fire pit with plenty of chairs.
One of the standout features of the home was the variety of artwork--it kept us talking for sure! Oh, and that brown leather chair near the poker table--you could stay in that thing all day!
Cheers to a wonderful place that helped us create some memories.
When I discovered my family reunion booking at the Butler House in Cherry Creek was cancelled unexpectedly less than one week prior to check in, the VRBO team was quick to assist our family with an upgrade to this beautiful home. And what an upgrade it was! The photos do not do this property justice.
Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. The home was perfectly appointed for large table gatherings or small cozy corner bondings.
We are grateful to Blair and Drew for accepting our booking on such short notice. May God Bless you both for opening your home to so many people to enjoy! And a special thanks to the VRBO team for their efforts to help us realize our family reunion that would otherwise not have occurred!
Excellent Site and Location for Large Family Gatherings
Large, open, indoor and outdoor spaces easily accommodated our family group. Main floor layout and bedroom worked well for family members with mobility issues. Gorgeous, large kitchen was perfect for sharing recipes and sitting by the fire and walks in the woods were enjoyed by all. Site is close to shopping and attractions and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Family looks forward for another opportunity to visit.
What a lovely property for our visit "home" to Bemus Point! Very spacious with lots of entertainment for the teens and adults from the TVs to the poker table to the driving range! Thank you for a great visit!
We had a total of 9 families join us for a family reunion/vacation. Some just joined for a day. Most stayed the entire time. I doubt any other venues could have accommodated our family as comfortably!
Sprawling property quick drive to downtown Bemus Point
Our family had a great time spending time together at the old Morning Glory Inn. The house was converted from a B&B to house for a a big family or group of friends to spread out in. Lots to do in the property such as bean bag toss, catch and release fishing and badminton. There is also a fire pit provided for winding down at night around the fire to cook some s’mores. Great place with lots of room for a large group.
The property was spacious and beautiful on a large plot of land, all of which is open to guests. It snowed most of the time we were there, and Drew salted the walkway and driveway every morning for us.
We stayed with adults, kids ranging from 3 months-5 years and all had a great time. The kids loved the twin bed rooms. Plenty of bedrooms for adults. Plenty of TVs if movie night is desired. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Linens/towels provided. There are two fridges and freezers with plenty of space. Great place to cook with family and friends.
Drew was an amazing host. He always saw to it that we were cared for and had everything we needed. We forgot an item at the property and Drew mailed it to us without hesitation. If you're looking for a place to book with the family in nature, look no further. The property paired with an attentive and thoughtful host made our 5 night stay easy and tons of fun. Thanks for everything!
We had a wonderful white Christmas in Ellery!! The inn is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The house had everything we needed to celebrate our 2020 family Christmas. The kitchen is awesome. The inn is situated in a rural setting with lots of acres to roam and is delightfully quiet. Our hosts provided super customer service; they were very friendly and very attentive!
