About this property

Room 1 is on the main floor of the Inn with a private full bath. The room sleeps two with a double bed. Iona Stables and Inn is located on a 35-acre farm just east of Rt 1, at a little crossroads called Argo’s Corner. We are situated 3 miles south of Milford, DE. It is only 3 miles to the Delaware Bay and 16 miles to the Ocean at Cape Henlopen State Park. The Lewes, Rehoboth, Tanger Outlets, and Delaware beaches and State Parks are located just south of us along the Rt 1 corridor. We are located 1 mile south of the new Bayhealth Medical Center. We are also 9 miles south of the DE Turf Sports Complex.

Beyond My Expectations

I had never stayed at a B&B before and didn't know what to expect. Linda and Robert made me feel at home. After a busy day, I looked forward to returning to the peaceful atmosphere of the Iona Inn. The breakfasts were phenomenal (and I missed them when I got home). I enjoyed the unique furnishings in the home and there was much attention to detail which made my stay extra special. I hope to return again in the future.

NASCAR Weekend

Robert and Linda (the owners) are first class all the way! The house is full of family heirlooms and very comfortable, They have the sweetest dog named Chip who is a great addition! Breakfast is made to order and includes scrapple! In western PA, we just can't get scrapple! Our trip was cut short, but we will definitely come back again!
