Great Holiday Retreat

We had such a wonderful time staying at Birdie for Thanksgiving Holiday- the pictures do not nearly showcase this beauty as well as it presents in real life. The kitchen is a cook and baker’s dream- super stocked with everything you could ever need or want. My family of 15 enjoyed immensely. Thank you!

Nice stay. Panicked at first due to having no linens and towels but house itself was big and nice. Water pressure was a little low and toilets were not easy to flush. Good basement space for entertainment and nice big open kitchen.

Perfect Summer Family Getaway

This property was the perfect home for our family summer vacation. We had 7 adults, 5 kids, and 3 dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy each other's company. The furniture was comfy and there was plenty of seating for everyone at meal times which is really hard to find in vacation rentals. The carpet runner on the stairs was fantastic for the older dogs so they could easily get around. The kitchen had all the space and supplies we needed for cooking at meal times. The deck space is great and quiet at night. Felt safe in the neighborhood and was conveniently located to stores and attractions. A bear did break into the trash box at night so be aware that bears are around. One of the upstairs bedrooms does have an interior window that is open to the kitchen below. It didn't affect our experience as we're all heavy sleepers, but I don't think that was clear from the listing photos. Also, the arcade games pictured in the listing photos are not in the house. Otherwise, I felt the house was as pictured and perfect for a large family to gather and have a wonderful time. Alicia was very responsive when we contacted her with questions. We would definitely book again!

The house was clean, spacious and even bigger in person than it looked online. Owner communicated with us when we needed her and had great check in/check out instructions. We would love to stay again!

Friends weekend

Property was great we had a good time. Lots of places to eat weather was beautiful. The only issue was the garbage cans were knocked over and the garbage was scattered all over the place when we got there. I did message the property realtor to let her know. We couldn’t get the heavy bins back standing up so we put the garbage in them laying down. Other than that great house! I would stay there again.

Great House!

The property was on a very pretty, private cul de sac- lots of trees/ forest around the houses. The house itself was really nice; the open layout added to the feeling of spaciousness. The house was very clean, everything was in working order. The deck was a great size for our family- we spent alot of time out there. Alicia, the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had- Thank you Alicia!

Perfect Golf Weekend Location

We had a big group getting together for a golf weekend and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out and a super location for getting to bars and restaurants. We basically lived on the deck and grilled a bunch - definitely recommend and would stay here again if back in the Poconos in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great weekend!

Great place for our family to get together and hang out for a few days!

The process was simple and easy the home was nice and spacious for our whole family of 14 to spread out and hang out. The location was quiet and right on a golf course. The deer were everywhere since it really wasn’t golf season, what a treat to see! We enjoyed hanging out by the the large fireplace in the living room and if it were warmer, we would have hung out on the deck too. The movie room and pool table were a huge hit too!

Nice property but home built in the 90s and needs updating! The kitchen sink water faucet needs help, it just acts like it is blocked with no water pressure dribbling out! And the downstairs game room , one of the arcade machines would not turn on! Their are hairdryers in each bath even though it says no where on the advertisement! It worked out ok , just bad weather and stuck in house to much! There are lots of activities if we would have had fair skies! Thanks So beware end of March is difficult to plan ! Could not ski , no snow and wind and rainy so no hiking with the kids! It would be a great house for a large adult group!
