About this property

Hay Lakehouse w/hot tub and amazing sunset views!

Set on Hay Lake, Hay Lakehouse is located just minutes from Algonquin Park. The setting will awe you while you fish, swim, paddle in the canoe and kayaks provided on the property, or just relax.
The waterfront has a large sandbar which is a great place for all ages to play games and paddle around in. The spacious dock is equipped with a picnic table and Adirondack chairs. It is a relaxing space to watch the kids as they splash and play in the lake.
Hay Lakehouse is an open and airy cottage. The foyer is large enough to hold all your extra things. The property has a UV water filtration system so the tap water is safe to drink. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook and serve your favourite family meals. There is plenty of space to gather around the harvest table and a special table for little ones while you feast, play games, or chat.
An outdoor hot/cold shower set among the trees is a nice way to freshen up and enjoy nature at the same time.
After a full day of activity, settled down to watch the beautiful sunset on the spacious dock, roast marshmallows at the firepit, and soak in the hot tub with a view of the lake and the stars.

Annual 3 Generation Vacation
We all loved the quiet and isolation of this place. 10 of us but easy to all be together or be alone. We made full use of outdoor shower and outhouse, great wifi, fun at sandbar fishing, canoeing, kayak or just floating around and hot tub too.Place had everything and Scott was a great host!

Great Vacation spot
The cottage was nice, clean and in a great location. Waterfront and dock were clean and had various life jackets. Ample firewood and propane provided so we could bbq daily, which is a must. Overall we had a great week and would love to visit again.

Relaxing retreat!
This beautiful property was such good find. My family and I had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing time, just what we all needed. The cottage was well equipped, spacious and exactly as shown. The hot tub was a hit for sure, as was the screened-in porch beside it, perfect for reading. And I encourage everyone who stays here to order some of Clover's baked goods!! They were so delicious!! Thanks for a great vacation!

Exactly what we were looking for
The previous review honestly says it all. Scott was always very helpful and always made us feel welcome. The cottage and property are very well maintained, very well equiped and we loved the location. The photos definitely don't do it justice. The huge dock is a fantastic spot, for groups of all ages. The sandbar is great for the young ones, easy entry/exit, and fun for everyone to walk out onto. And those sunsets!! We made use of all the neat amenities, including the outdoor shower, of course the hot tub, the fire pit and I'm not sure we've ever slept as well as we did in that bunkie (aka the sensory deprovation chamber lol). We had a great week, we were very sad for it to come to an end and we're already looking forward to doing it all over again next year.
