Fantastic Thanksgiving Trip

This property worked out great. Well appointed, clean and had everything we needed to celebrate a great family trip for the holiday. Very easy check in / out process made everything seamless. Thanks for hosting us!

Very Challenging stay

The temperature of the home was 79 degrees upon check in. Uncomfortably warm for my elderly mom, myself and husband. The host who was immediately responsive during the booking process didn’t acknowledge or reply to our inquiry into the home temperature for nearly 4 hours. When she finally did, she castigated me for reaching out through the Vrbo App in addition to text. No more Mr Nice guy, the host was very assertive in dismissing the hot home temperatures on us being new to the area and “not understanding Florida weather”. If that’s the case, how will this home feel in July? Until the morning of the 5th day of our 7 night stay we were not permitted to adjust the temperature in the home. We had to contact the host, (who was combative) and beg and plead to lower the temperature. We had no independent control of our own comfort in the home because we were locked out of the thermostat. Host explained high home temperatures on the weather. It was only 82. Then she said we “confused her system” by trying to lower temperature at check in. Then she said we don’t understand HVAC. And when the unit turned off completely at night or temperatures mysteriously raised while we left the house, she said it was “user error”. Truth is, we were at the mercy of the host to lower the temperature to 68-70 comfortable degrees and it never happened until the 5th day. Finally after numerous messages pleading for control of the thermostat we were given unrestricted control. It was a miracle. I cried the first 4 nights of our stay I was so miserable here. The host was so rude and even told us we should vacate the property. She took no responsibility for the yo-yo temperatures inside he home, and even when we repeatedly explained we could not control the thermostat (buttons were disabled or not working) she said it wasn’t true., but she controlled he temperatures remotely- that was a fact. This stay was absolutely void of hospitality, void of comfort- void of freedom to control the thermostat. Also note this property is at least 25 mins away from all the fun attractions in downtown Naples. Positive observations: The house is quiet. Space was nicely spread out. Kitchen had lots of necessities for cooking for a family. Garage is a nice feature. If we would have full control of the thermostat when we checked in at 79 degrees the stay would have been so much better. Also, bring your own sheets. They have poor quality 100% polyester sheets that are hot and sticky

Cute house close to Vanderbilt beach & shopping

We enjoyed our stay in Naples Park, loved the lanai, backyard and access to bikes...it was an easy ride to Vanderbilt beach! Host was responsive and had a very nice neighbor who helped out & also brought us by some fresh star fruit!
