I would book this condo every time. My stay was close to perfect. The only issue is self-correcting and that is for me to learn Spanish.

Excellent Stay

Francisco was an excellent host, who responded quickly to our requests and inquiries. The apartment was spotless, and well equipped. It is in a very good neighborhood, with walking distance to great restaurants. The lobby staff was very helpful too. We really enjoyed our stay, and will book again when we visit Santo Domingo.

Bad experience

My complaint is the way I was switched to this apartment. I was at a resort in La Romana and it was time to get ready to check out. Then I find out that I had to switch apartments. I had to shower and pack and check out, while communicating with vrbo trying to see if I wanted this apartment. Then I had to change my ride to a different location. I had to contact the guests that were going to stay with me and tell them the new address. When I got there it didn't have a safe so vrbo sent a guy with a small safe, but he didn't install it so someone could just pick it up and go. The manual wasn't in the box so I had to carry a bypass key with me. There was at least 9 remotes for the air, the cable box, and the tvs, and most of them the batteries were weak and didn't work the remote. The apartment was OK except it smelled like sewage around the elevators. I had to wait for about 30 to 45 minutes for the lady to fix the beds and bring towels. I was very disappointed in all the problems I had with vrbo. I told them about the batteries in the remotes and she said she would report it but didn't send any batteries. This is the first time I used vrbo and I am very disappointed with their service.
