Dune Reel Good is in a great location in the popular gated community of Barrier Dunes. This townhome is on the quiet, gulf front "horseshoe" in the complex and feels a little more private and "laid back".

With a new owner and completely updated decor, this townhome is the perfect choice for your beach vacation. You will have wonderful gulf views from the master suite and will be just steps from the white sandy beach of Cape San Blas and the sparkling water of the Gulf. The upstairs deck is the perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee and end the day watching the unbeatable sunsets!

From the moment you walk up to the first floor, you immediately relax into the peace and quiet of Dune Reel Good. The whole place feels new and clean and welcoming. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa in the living area, the property comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Since this townhome is an end unit, the living area feels larger and brighter because of the wonderful big bay window, which is also a perfect little reading nook. The space also features a large, smart TV with cable and streaming available. And there is also a nice dining table for eating together or playing games.

The kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and eat in. There is a full-sized refrigerator with ice-maker, an electric stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There is also a regular style coffee maker, a kettle, a crock pot, a toaster, a blender, plenty of cookware, bakeware, dishes, cutlery, and glassware.

Also on the first floor is a bright and welcoming queen bedroom with a private balcony that enjoys the morning sun. There is a flat screen for streaming (but you need your own account), or you can bring your own Roku or Fire stick or gaming system (there is no cable TV). Conveniently located between the kitchen and the bedroom is a full bathroom with a toilet and a tub/shower combination.

When you walk upstairs, you are welcomed into a large, inviting private master suite with a comfortable king-size bed, a futon couch, and nice flat screen TV with cable. This lovely oasis offers an absolutely wonderful view of the Gulf with a great balcony to sit out and simply soak it all in. Off the bedroom is an open double vanity area, then there is separate bathroom with a toilet, a walk-in shower, and a large soaking tub. Also upstairs is a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. The huge master suite offers plenty of space to unpack and settle in to fully enjoy this slice of paradise.

There is a private outdoor shower to rinse off when you come back from the beach. We also provide four beach chairs and a cart to get your gear to the beach. The townhome has enough parking for two vehicles.

Barrier Dunes is a great community for guests of all ages. The streets are safe for your children or grandchildren to play or ride bikes. There are three beach access points, two community swimming pools, two tennis/pickle ball courts, a wonderful playground with new equipment, and ponds, where kids also love to feed the resident turtles. Beautiful Stay

This property was lovely and the pictures do not do it justice. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 and there was everything we could have needed there. With this being a condo complex there was the issue of noise. Our neighbor had a dog with them and it was very rowdy and people were shooting off fireworks at all hours. This is no way is the fault of the owners though! We could not have loved our experience with Ros & Carolyn more if we tried. They were very quick to respond to any communication and were very kind and attentive. We were hoping for a little more peace and quiet than we get in the bigger beach towns and we just did not find that here, but sometimes it is just the nature of staying in a larger complex.

Great place to stay!

House was neat and clean; beds were comfortable; location was great as far as proximity to the beach. Wasn’t a long walk at all. Loved the complex- great for walking every morning. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean and in great location

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 5-night stay at this lovely condo unit. We loved it; it was very pretty, comfortable and functional. The location is excellent (very short walk to the beach...1 minute, maybe; you can see the bay from the balcony on the top floor) and the unit was very clean and very well furnished and stocked in all areas: kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, beach stuff….it didn’t look and feel like other rentals that have just very basic items, but rather like a summer home that has been carefully planned and furnished with quality items. The beach access closest to the unit is at the end of the complex so it is a more quiet and less crowded area of the beach; also wider and nicer. In addition to all of that, the managers and the owner were EXTREMELY responsive with regards to the only issue we had during our stay: on our first night, the 2 of us who were in the second bedroom (with the Queen bed) didn’t get much sleep because the mattress was sagging in the middle and the bed was very squeaky. We texted the managers in the morning to see if there was anything they could do. Very quickly, a maintenance person (very nice guy) came to assess the situation. Upon being informed that the issue could not be resolved with the available options, the owners asked the maintenance person to drive all the way to Panama City (50+ miles away) to buy a new mattress and install it that same day. We were blown away by their level of service and care. Just great!

Perfect Vacation!

I've been vacationing at Cape San Blas since I was a little girl and now bring my young family to enjoy the same adventures here. This home is perfect for families - it has everything you need - close access to the beach, pools in the complex, comfortable and appealing decor and the added bonus of spices in the kitchen which came in handy when I forgot to grab some from the store. We will definitely be coming back and booking this home again. I don't want to say too many great things about it because I'll run the risk of the house being booked all the time :)

Not what we are expected

We asked up front about if the beach had to be cleared every night. The rules say that it must be but no one holds the people to it. After the second day at least 15 people left there tents out on the beach the rest of the week. We walked about 250 Yards down the beach to find somewhere to put chairs down. That being said the walk wasn’t that bad and it was well worth it. Beautiful beech and water. The condo was everything we needed with one of exception. The cabinets had what we thought was mouse feceis, I contacted owners and they got back immediately. Come to find out it was roach feceis or Palmatoe bug feceis. They sent a bug man out immediately the next day. Problem ..every morning we woke up there was bug feceis on the kitchen counters and the bed our girls were staying in downstairs… so they had to sleep on futon up stairs. We have stayed on 30A for ten years and never had bugs that leave feceis on our beds and kitchen. Paid too much to have bugs crawling on us at night and over food counter. All that being said… if the bug problem didn’t happen and they had someone to police the people leaving all their junk on the beach every night we would return. Wanted others to know because had we known we would have went a different route
