Down the secluded moss covered stone wall, tree lined lane you will find the lovingly restored old thatched cottage, you arrive at the rear of the cottage with ample private parking. Enter through the back door and you are immediately drawn into the kitchen by the sea views visible from the entrance. The living area is divided into three bright lime whitewashed rooms, a traditional farmhouse kitchen with a rustic farmhouse table, traditional Irish dresser, with modern kitchen appliances, a family room with a warm fire for relaxing at or having a ceili with friends and family and lastly a converted cow byre with large windows, amazing views and wrap around built in seating. This snug cosy space is a great hangout, reading, game or dining space.

Two of the bedrooms are located off the family room down a small hallway. A full bathroom is directly outside these two bathrooms. As well as a linen closet for toiletries and linens. The master bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom is located at the opposite end of the cottage.

The boot and coat storage as well as laundry are located at the rear entrance off the kitchen.

The home is heated with underfloor heating, giving it that constant cosy warm feeling eliminating the cold dampness that unfortunately plagued these cottages when they were first built.

The front door opens to a large field lined with Ash, sycamore and Holly trees and stone walls. To the left you can see Glashedy Island and Pollan beach with Ballyliffin Golf course in the foreground. Center you can see Malin Head where Stars Wars was recently filmed, Lagg Sand Dunes some of the highest sand dunes in Europe with the isle of Dough and the dough famine village in the foreground. To the right you can see the sun rise over the hills of Glengad and Culdaff with Trawbereaga Bay and Malin town in the foreground. With this being the farthest cottage up at the foot of Coolcross hill it allows for these unparalleled panoramic views.
