About this property

Secluded Log Cabin on farm with hot tub, WiFi, views, and FREE POOL ACCESS

This is a cozy, one-level heavy timber log cabin is designed after the Cades Cove historic cabins, but has all the modern-day amenities. It has one private bedroom with a king size bed and 1 and a half baths. The living room has a twin size bunk bed and a twin size bed. The living room sofa also converts into queen size sofa bed. A ramp entrance, making it wheelchair and stroller accessible, and the fact that it is all on one level, with no steps, makes it easy for physically challenged guests, too. This cabin has a wood-burning stove with glass doors and a hand-stacked stone firewall and mantle. Customers will be able to visit a family farm with cute farm animals, beautiful gardens with vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, and flowers, and casually walk on over a mile of woodland hiking trails. Cabin rental comes with free access to the Laurel Valley Swimming Pool and Fitness Center. Sleeps up to 6.

Cabin Rental
Was a very nice cabin. Enjoyed the stay and easy to get to. Only 5 minutes from everything in Townsend.

Lots to fix….
Upon arrival Thermostat was missing batteries. Had to buy batteries for it and the heat would not work. It was literally 44 degrees inside the cabin. Had to call to have the manager come fix which took 4 hours. Hot tub was 80 degrees and took 36 hours to warm up to full temperature. Deck needed pressure washed so bad that first thing my daughter slipped and fell hurting her leg. The microwave was missing the spin tray. Someone must’ve had a fire in the stove and the whole cabin smelled of smoke. Not to mention the driveway was so steep you need a 4x4 to get down to it. The cabin was nice but with everything compounded I feel like it quickly turned our trip into a unpleasant experience.

A Tennessee Christmas
I chose this cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. The listing was accurate and very clean. Really enjoyed the wood stove ( one of my favorite smells). The Bunk Cabin was right by the goat farm so I walked my 2 daughters over to say hello, and we also caught glimpses of the horses in the barn. I was originally hoping for snow but was too cold this go around and there was ice. We did not get into the hot tub, but stay snuggled and bundled inside. I read previous reviews and thought the drive way was going to incline (steep) , however it is actually down to get to the cabin, up to get out and definitely not that bad. Beds were extremely comfortable and the quilt comforters did the job keeping all of us good and warm throughout the night. Would recommend if wanting to get back to a simpler life and would love to come again.

No complaints
This place is perfect for couples. It’s fifteen minutes from extremely busy Gatlinburg yet you are still in the middle of nowhere. Go in the winter and it’s possible you can get snowed in and miss a few days of work!

Peaceful
Was a great place away from some of the hustle and bussel of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.. but still close enough to get to every thing. Love it there.. the check in was a little strange and it was a little confusing finding the place but once we had that figured the rest of the week was awesome .
