Cozy, clean, home with newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen. Open floor plan with original hardwood floors throughout and full basement with washer and dryer. Sunny, eat-in kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counter tops, island with seating and natural wood cabinets. Large front porch for seasonal gatherings. Spacious private backyard with established gardens and off-street parking.

Built in 1915, and completely renovated in 2013-2014. New electrical, HVAC (central A/C), and plumbing. Long, elegant bathtub in primary bath, and large walk-in closet in primary suite.

Wonderful comfortable place

The property was excellent for 3 friends. Very comfortable and centrally located near groceries, food and access to Asheville. The best was the front porch with a swing! Great for morning coffee and watching the kids, neighbors and dogs taking walks. Definitely recommend.

Cozy comfortable cottage

The location, walkability and spaciousness of this home was wonderful. I walked to Trader Joes, Whole Foods and to Kaiut Yoga classes at Asheville Yoga Center. We stayed here for a month while looking at homes. My favorite resting spot was the porch swing. Mary was friendly, communicative and quickly resolved any issues that arose. Lovely setting and comfortable beds. We made friends with a neighborhood cat and even saw some black bears.

Great, Cozy House

This house is ideal for a couple and a couple of kids. Nice kitchen, overall setup, and neighborhood! We hope to return!

Home away from home

What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, updated and well stocked. It's well situated in a quiet neighborhood, but walkable to downtown and a short drive from great hikes. The WiFi is excellent, and the small office in the house was perfect for my husband to work remotely for a month. Mary is a great host! She was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Thank you Mary

Cute house in a great neighborhood

We are frequent visitors to Asheville and have stayed in a few different VRBOs there. We were in town for a concert an to celebrate our anniversary. This is maybe our favorite place. It’s a cute house that has been updated with a spacious, and well-stocked kitchen and great bathrooms. The house was bright and cheerful and the front porch was perfect for coffee and relaxing in the afternoon and evening. We loved the neighborhood as well. There are close restaurants and shops and it a pretty easy walk to downtown Asheville. It was a perfect house for our weekend. Thank you!
