Bluebird cottage is less than a mile from Devil's Backbone Brewery; nestled at the bottom of Wintergreen Resort. Located near several local wineries, breweries, and distilleries along 151 as well as the Appalachian Trail. After a fun filled day exploring the charm of Nelson County come back and relax around the outdoor camp fire pit or simply enjoy the sounds of the babbling creek in the front yard.

If you are looking for a get away but still need to check in with work we have you covered with wireless high speed internet that is able to support video conferencing for school or work.

**During the winter months we recommend that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle if inclement weather is in the forecast.

Perfect blend of historic and modern.

Really nice place and a great location for skiing or local restaurants at the bottom of the mountain. I would stay here again anytime whether it be winter spring summer or fall.

Luxury and charm

It was like staying in a 4 star hotel and, at the same time, a quaint/charming old cottage. We cooked and ate in and the kitchen was pleasant in every respect. The king bedroom was totally comfortable. The bathroom shower was a treat. All furniture inside was in excellent condition and comfortable. Susan was great to work with and went out of her way to take care of us. We left feeling quite renewed and grateful.
