I believe everyone is doing the best that they can. This property was not perfect and the owners could do a lot more to make a few improvements. So I would like them to take this as just feedback so they have the opportunity to improve what is almost a really great thing. Before you go remind people to look into the green ferry, furthermore please give people the code 2-3 hours before arrival, we got in a traffic jam which was the only reason why we didn't need it at 4pm otherwise I was going to be sitting at the property without a code.
All the beds squeak and I would never allow anyone to sleep in that upper bunk the they are so wobbly it does not seem safe to have anyone sleep on it.Trash was outside not a very good first impression. The cookware is not something anyone should cook on, invest in some clean/safe/new cookware. The drawers in the kitchen where you keep things all dirty, I can't tell you how that made us feel, when we found dirty items, almost every time we needed to use anything including a dirty coffee pot. Create a solid system so these things are not missed when you clean. The whole house needs a deep clean. I found may areas with hand prints, layers of dust. This house will and did smell of stale smoke, people who owned this before were smokers. We had to open windows to get the air to move around so we didn't smell it. Also why does the house not have front screens? This place was not all bad, I think they will improve, and can. Like I said nice people.
