Westayed at the property in August 25 during a heatwave. We generally had a good time and spent a good family holiday at this place. We were pleased with the property size (including garden size) and location in a peaceful village. With the heat, the swimming pool was a saving grace; all but one bedroom had A/C, but the bedroom without A/C was very difficult to sleep in and hardly usable.Though it looked clean at first glance, the property could be cleaner (dust under some of the beds and windows were not particularly clean).The main A/C unit (living room) started leaking water heavily 2 days from the end. We had to put buckets under the unit to collect the water that would otherwise form significant puddles inside the property, and those would become full halfway through the night, needing emptying.Other than that, with the hot days, the presence of a septic tank could sometimes be noticed when seated outside. On the last two nights, we were visited by a handful of hornets, which the host should look into. Check with the host if they have.Sadly, on two occasions, we broke glasses whilst washing the dishes (on one occasion, this led to a small cut and bleed). We felt the poor quality of some of the glassware was to blame and put us at risk, and the host was adamant that four glasses were missing at the end of the stay, resulting in a 50 charge which felt very unfair, considering the high wear and tear of some of the property in general which is crying for some updating.
