Nice lakeview, but no swimming or power boating

Trailer was fine, with large lawn and beautiful lake views. Lakefront was very disappointing. Very shallow and extremely seaweedy for hundreds of feet out. Unable to swim from cottage at all! Unable to get rented pontoon boat near dock. Kayaks were only way to access lake from shore. Would not have rented if we were aware how unusable waterfront was going to be. Had to drive to beaches at state park or in Sylvan beach to swim.

We have lived on Oneida lake for over 20 years now and enjoy the opportunity to share this beautiful environment with guests. It's wonderful to see the reactions when people arrive at the lake. Stress washes away, replaced by relaxed smiles, and family laughter.

Why they chose this property

This home has a great layout, lots of room indoors and out, and wonderful views of the lake. A great place to enjoy games on the lawn or a relaxing drink on the porch. If you have to mix some work in with your pleasure, the wifi makes it easy to work remotely.
