It’s time for some fun in the sun. Come and enjoy an unforgettable stay in our home, Captain’s Paradise. Captain’s Paradise is the entire side of a duplex with a private entrance that is located in the unique and fun loving SW Cape Coral. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy our tropical paradise and relax from your days fun activities. My home is fully furnished which includes WiFi, cable and a Fire Stick. It sleeps up to 6 people in the 2 bedroom 2 bath home. SMALL PETS WELCOME (FEES APPLY). Captain’s Paradise is within walking distance or bicycling distance to Publix, Walgreens, Camelot Park and several banks. We are also close to lots of restaurants and the entertainment of Downtown Cape Coral, the Yacht Club, Cape Harbour, Golf Courses, Sun Splash, Bike Trails, Kayaking and the famous Rum-Runner. We are also close to Sanibel Island and minutes to Cape Coral beach as well as about 20 minutes to Ft Myers International Airport and 30 minutes to Ft Myers Beach.

Wonderful place

My house was being renovated due to hurricane damage, and I stayed about a week at this lovely duplex. It was relaxing and comfortable and much easier than being in a hotel and having to go out for meals. I had my groceries delivered and had a chance to eat what I wanted and rest. I would recommend this duplex to anyone. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Pam went above and beyond to make my stay as easy as possible, as I am handicapped. She was a wonderful host. Thank you to Pam.

Enjoyed our stay

We normally stay in the Fort Myers beach area. So, this was our first time staying in Cape Coral. It worked out great! It is a beautiful well kept condo. And the location was perfect. Cape Coral is a pretty town and we enjoyed staying there. We drove to many different places and went down to the Fort Myers beach and enjoyed the sunshine. And then looked forward to coming back to this place and relaxing. And communication with the owner was easy. She answers right away. She want's to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Nice place

Good central location everywhere we went. Lots of good extra items such as beach chairs, towels for being on vacation. Communication with property owner was easy and very quick responses. Lots of good local restaurants in neighborhood.

Great Stay

Property had all the necessary conveniences. We did miss not having a BBQ grill. The host was in contact many times and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Our only dislike was the location on a busy main road, which produced a lot of traffic noise.

I am a people person. I love to help others because that's just me. Although I am not in Cape Coral yet I do plan on being there permanently by the end of the year (sooner if I can). I do, however, have awesome people there that help me out till I am able to return permanently. I like antiques and flea markets and I add to my grandmothers Star of David pattern of crystal when I find a piece of it. I am collecting a set for each of my 3 grandkids so they can say it's from Great Grandma and Grandma. I love animals and have 4 furbabies of my own (all rescues). Since my son is grown with his own children my furbabies are like my kids. I have 2 older dogs (17 and 12), 1 baby (1 year) and 1 teenage cat and they are spoiled rotten – lol.

Why they chose this property

My home sustained NO DAMAGE on the inside from Hurricane Ian and only minor damage to the exterior which has been repaired. I loved this duplex the minute I saw it and by the end of the 2023 year I have plans on putting in a hot tub, a fire pit and a “patio” with a BBQ grill. I put myself in shoes of others and ask myself “what would I like to see or have if I were staying here”. I want each guest to feel like my home is their home away from home and want to come back and stay again and again. I take each guests feedback as a helpful suggestion so I can make it better for them when they return as well as future guests. Pam’s house was beautiful and so homey! The kitchen had everything you could want to cook with easily! Being able to use the garage was a plus too. She was great to answer questions quickly for us. She was a terrific hostess. She had a lot of supplies there for us to use such as coolers and lawn chairs. The bicycles were a great addition so we could bike ride around the neighborhood. We took numerous walks also. Very walkable neighborhood! Walgreens and Publix were within walking distance too. We hated to leave as it was an amazing home! The screened in back room was one if our favorite places to hang out in.

We stayed over the holidays and loved it. Pam has everything we would ever need in her kitchen to make a holiday meal, cookie sheets, pots and pans, measuring cups and spoons and do much more. I've stayed in places that day they have a stocked kitchen and are missing basic amenities, but Pam's for you covered. Comfortable, too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The house is very well occupied, Pam has everything in her house that you could think of, we loved how she welcomed us, her recommendation to go to the farmers market was excellent, we enjoyed our stay so much!! I cannot wait to be back to Cape Coral and hopefully stay with Pam again!

a very charming. clean, spacious home. everything was beautiful and very clean. towels and bedding very high quality, beds super comfortable tvs in every bedroom and ceiling fans. kitchen well equipped and washer and dryer was super great. we did have two toddlers and home isn't toddler friendly but we managed. good location and pam was so helpful. bikes provided was a really neat perk. I'd definitely stay here again.
With this guests feedback I was able to make my home toddler friendly. I added
toddler plates and silverware, put nonslip material under the area rugs, added a high
chair and play pen.

Pam is such a great host. Communication skills are at a level 1000!! We have never been to Cape Coral before and she recommended awesome places to see and visit while on our stay. She is so kind to even leave us a welcome package with essentials upon arrival. We will definitely return!
