This is a recently upgraded 5 bedroom, 3 bath house right in the heart of Pacific Beach. The house has a unique lay out that is perfect for large groups of friends and families. The layout includes a large open living room that expands into the kitchen, sleeping in beds for 14, an outdoor terrace on all 4 levels, a large garage and an amazing rooftop deck with views of the ocean. Great for a weekend getaway with family or friends or for longer term stays.

Disappointed

The property seemed not used for months. Spiders and cobwebs were in several places. The freezer appeared to have been defrosted and then plugged back in. The shelves had icicles hanging from them. The washing machine was broken and we were told that they would send somebody, but nobody came. No additional information was provided by host or their coworker. The space was large and accommodated all 7 of us. The internet went out multiple times as we were steaming. It was challenging to find the property as well. With a little TLC, this property would be top tier.

Not as advertised

Positives- slept all 11 of our family members. 12 blocks from the beach. Close to shopping. Negatives- check in time set for 4 but we were not allowed in until after 5:30, floors were filthy, furniture inside was worn, furniture outside was broken and not usable, grill was rusted out and not usable, not enough plates and silverware to accommodate our group of 11, outdoor space was also dirty(cigarette butts and trash), significant mold in the master shower. This house seemed more like a college frat house than a VRBO. Worst VRBO experience by far. It took 2.5 weeks to get deposit back with me contacting the property manager several times.

Family gathering for USMC Graduation

Our son graduated from USMC bootcamp at MCRD and this house was perfect. Easy access to the depot without getting on the highway. Easy access to the airport and ocean beach provided all we needed. We would highly recommend for a large group
