About this property

Summary:
Great location to stay if you are visiting downtown San Antonio River walk. It is within 2 mile distance, a short Uber ride anywhere in town including Fort Sam Houston. San Antonio is one of the oldest cities in the U.S, with no doubt very beautiful. A lot of the neighborhoods surrounding downtown are not fully developed, there is a lot of restoring going on. So If you are looking into staying in a more modern/new area, this might not be what your are looking for. Great location for price.

The Space:
Warm and Cozy home. surveillance cameras on premises (outside). This is not a modern area, however it is in transition. It is safe and quiet.

Guest Access:
> Please be advised that there are 2 other units. 1 is the Main House which is located in front and the other unit is at back as well which is being rented out separately by other guests.

The Neighborhood:
We are very close to the river walk, a very short Uber/lyft drive. Approximately 2.5 miles from the riverwalk and main ateactions This is an upcoming neighborhood so it is not the prettiest it is still in transition and changing. It is in a great location as far as central is concerned 2 miles or so from main attractions.

Clean spot

Honestly this spot has a lot of potential but what the micromanaging by the host was a turn off. Constantly checking in was not necessary. Also the beds very uncomfortable, super soft memory topper over a hard mattress is not a good combination.as well as paper thin blankets. Also having to check out at 10am vs 11-12 like most other places . Idk like I said it has a lot of potential to be a great stày though

Healthcare workers please boycott. Terrible host don’t give your money to these people

I am a nurse who happen to get Covid for the first time four days prior to my trip. Despite repeated attempts to work with the host and ask for a refund so we may come another time, I was sent on a goose chase dealing with the host, property manager, and VRBO customer service. No one was able to help me until the day before when a wonderful gentleman from VRBO customer service team tried to plead for a refund on my behalf since I was quarantined and could not travel. The host was robotic and unempathetic and denied my refund request. She kept every cent and the large deposit for my trip. I was aware I was out of the “refund window” but these are extenuating circumstances in a unprecedented time. As a nurse who has cared for ICU Covid patients for two plus years and was so excited to take my first vacation since this started, this was a slap in the face. Do not give these people your business. They should be ashamed of themselves.
