About this property

Pedacito is nestled into a garden property just a few steps from the activity center; dive shop, beach-front pool, restaurant, bar, activity desk, and private beach. It's a true island getaway!
This three bedroom Balinese style bungalow was beautifully designed and has had recent renovations; open and spacious, bright and inviting, with vaulted ceilings and extra large ceiling fans that provide lots of air and ventilation, releasing hot air and allowing the constant trade breeze blow through. The kitchen is modern granite and stainless-steel with a breakfast bar and dining area. The living room is comfortable with seating ocean facing, flat screen tv's in all the bedrooms with satellite channels, wifi, and over-sized patio sliding doors. Everything you need for the perfect vacation, only thing missing is "you"!

Palmetto Bay Roatan Honduras

I did not get the house I paid for!!!!! It was far away from the beach & restaurant. The dishwasher did not work. The dryer was not working. Bathroom shower curtains fell down a lot.. no bakeware for oven cooking…. The house we were put up in was for sale…. It was disheartening that I got a substitution VRBO …. I paid on time… & I was told that VRBO overbooked the house???? Twice??? This has never happened to me before! VRBO means you get what you book! I have AFib & it’s a good thing we rented a car…. I could not walk to the beach, restaurant fishing pier! Just too far for me … a 72 yr old gramma! We did asked for a grill & we got one!! I asked for a new light bulb on the stairway due to safety & it was changed! I totally wish I would have gotten the rental I bought …. Not a substitution Shari Holm

Why they chose this property

Palmetto resort is the only eco-resort on Roatan, and the only resort of it's kind. Surround by a nature preserve, off the beaten path, yet close to all the attractions. You will not see tourist traffic filling up the beaches, or wandering through the property. It is a gated community for our guests to enjoy with freedom and peace.

What makes this property unique

The bungalow is fully accessible to guests, as well as the grill on deck. The huge beach is all yours to walk, jog, or lounge. The palapa dock is so nice, guests love having massages on the shaded dock, for full relaxation.
The activity center is where you'll find the bar, restaurant, dive shop, and beach side pool. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards and snorkel gear, and head out for a snorkel.
The entire property is connected to walking trails that roll through and around the property, because we are surrounded by a nature preserve there is a lot to see and enjoy.
We also offer tours, excursions, charters to our guests through our tour company. Transportation is included in most all activities you book and we are always happy to offer discounts to all our guests, whenever possible.
