For the beach goer, there are several options of family-friendly, white-sand beaches a walk away with fun waves for all skill sets, including wonderful snorkeling, kayaking, boogie boarding, or just lounging in the sun.

For those wanting to surf, this house is an ideal location for beginners to professional level surfers. For the more experienced surfer, you can paddle out to Lani’s, Jocko’s, Hutlin's all from the backyard, these breaks, in the winter, offer some of the most challenging and beautiful waves in the world. Expect low crowds as you have your personal launching point right off the reef into the break. And for the beginner to intermediate surfers, you can surf at the iconic Chun’s Reef, which is only a 2-minute walk east of the house. Chun’s is a safe, fun, and easy wave to surf. Surf schools are parked there daily, so it is easy to join a lesson.

Unlike other ocean front homes, you have the water in front of the house completely to yourself. The pad of sand and the tide pools, are perfect for the kids or aspiring marine biologist; visitors frequently report sightings of Sea Turtles, Monk Seals, Octopus, Tropical Fish, Starfish, Crabs, and much more down within the rocks and tide pools of the beach. Plus the rocks prevent people from wandering into your area, along with keeping the sand safe for kids of all ages to play and parents to relax even in many of the winter months when the surf is too dangerous to be at any of the beaches on the North Shore.

Strong currents can make any beach unsafe at any time during the year, ask a lifeguard about ocean currents or look for warning flags and posted beach conditions.

The North Shore, has become a hub for unique and delicious food, art galleries, and local-home grown farmer’s markets. Whether you want quick, inexpensive delicious food from the many food trucks, or upscale restaurants like Jameson on the Sea, or Haleiwa Joe's, the north shore has something to offer everyone in the family.
