## Emplacement
-- Magnan or La Madeleine
The district of La Madeleine is a narrow area occupying one of the valleys that descends from the hills to the sea. Very urban and quite popular, the Boulevard de la Madeleine offers the experience of a real immersion in an active and dynamic part of the city.
-- Les Baumettes
Comprising part of the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Baumettes district in the heart of Nice has a double face. Residential on its heights, it becomes much more urban, commercial and lively as you get closer to the shore. This family neighborhood is ideal for enjoying the beach and a real neighborhood life.
-- Gambetta
Living in the district of Gambetta means first of all being able to enjoy in a few moments the sea and the beach while being just a few blocks from the city center. More recent than the hyper-centre neighbourhoods, Gambetta presents a harmonious mix of bourgeois buildings typical of nineteenth-century Nice urbanism, Art Deco buildings and contemporary buildings. Although Gambetta is a small area, it has several very shopping streets: the rue de France, famous throughout the city for its shops. Served by tram, this area has everything to please!
-- Le Piol - Imperial Park - Vernier
The Imperial Park district owes its name to the Imperial Hotel, which was built there in 1902 for the Russian community who spent their winters on the Côte d’Azur. This district underwent a real transformation during the World’s Fair in Nice. Today there are memories of that period with magnificent constructions. Today, it is a colorful residential area, perfect for a family stay, thanks to its proximity to the sea and the shops of the area that will delight all your desires during your stay.
-- Thiers - Musicians
Mozart, Verdi, and even Rossini came to wander the streets of this district. The musicians’ quarter is the symbol of Nice architecture. It is an area appreciated for its calm and for its close proximity to the hyper centre of Nice. Although very close to the hyper centre, the musicians’ sector offers a real neighbourhood life to its inhabitants. There are many local shops and neighborhood restaurants.
-- Jean - Doctor
This district is mainly known for Avenue Jean-Médecin. It is one of the north-south traffic routes of the city and appears as the main commercial artery of Nice. It is referred to by the people of Nice as “the Avenue”. You will be a stone’s throw from the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Nice and the imposing Nicetoile shopping centre.
-- Carabacel
A stone's throw from the harbour and next to the old town, this district is endowed with many shops and emblematic places. The Carabacel district attracts a resolutely urban and active population.
The city of Nice is known for its narrow streets and extremely dense urban fabric. Although the Carabacel district does not escape the rule, it nevertheless benefits from an exceptional space. Covered by walks and cycle paths, shaded by palm trees and plants typical of the Mediterranean vegetation, it is a meeting place for the inhabitants of the area.
