Great weekend getaway
We were so impressed with this property. It was a perfect place to get away from it all for the weekend. The cabin was adorable and the screened in private kitchen area was perfect since it rained all weekend. The hosts were fantastic and we just had a great time . You can't go wrong with this place.

Just what we were looking for
Quaint, cute, remote but still close to great hikes, great views, clean, and more. The hosts were accommodating and friendly without being intrusive. They have a basecamp at the bottom of the hill with simple supplies. We're definitely going to go back someday.

Amazing Stay!
Nearly everything about the stay was phenomenal. The cabin, kitchen, and outhouse were very impressive with the off-grid equipment while still feeling like a home. The location is so beautiful and there is so much to do nearby. We did a few bouts of hiking while we were there and it was really worth the 6 hour drive from Buffalo! The owner was super accommodating and we were very impressed with the story of the place. There is lots of amenities included, so very little was required on our end which was very nice. The only things I would suggest to the owner is to add a few more spots to hang stuff up inside the cabin (just for convenience). Also, adding shudders or hood overhangs on the exterior of the windows so rain water doesn’t get inside (we ended up having to close the windows at night which made it pretty warm in there). I would also suggest to show images on the listing of how close the neighboring cabin is and note that the fire pit is shared - we didn’t really get a chance to use the fire pit and the neighboring family didn’t seem super friendly so we didn’t want to overstep any boundaries. We also noticed there isn’t a step down off the deck when you are headed toward the kitchen, as well as no railing along the deck/steps (it’s not that high up, but would be nice in case of a fall). The last thing we thought of while staying is to have some posts put up in the yard area so people can hang up hammocks. We had brought 2 but couldn’t find a good spot to put them.
