Fun Stay
This stay was very fun. Our kids were a little confused at first but that first step into the houseboat their eyes lit up and played as if we were out at sea. This trip was to have an experience we never have before and it was well worth it. If we are ever back in town we would definitely book this trip again!

The property was falsely advertised, they stated they had two bathrooms. There was only a half bath, and then a shower, which would be equivalent to one, not two. The place was filthy. There was still leftover food in the refrigerator, and the kitchen was unclean and unsanitary. This stove looked as if it had never been cleaned. The advertisement stated two bedrooms however, there were bunkbeds that are not standard regulation in the hallway, not a bedroom. Very unsafe for children, I’m not even sure of child could actually fit in the bed, unless they were under the age of five, and then it would be extremely unsafe! The walkway to the property was very unsafe, and they used pictures of the next-door neighbor to advertise for their place. I would not recommend staying here, and when we did say that we were dissatisfied, we could not get a hold of the host and she refused to refund our money for the next couple days as we booked three days. We still have not been able to get any compensation or money returned to date. We also had to get another place to stay, coming out of pocket for more money, definitely not a place for children as it is unsafe, and there was a homeless individual in front of the entrance.

Great overnight stay
We are traveling from GA to TX and decided to stay one night at a half way point. We have never stayed on a houseboat so we thought why not? We were not disappointed, everything was exactly as mentioned. After reading the reviews we kept one small overnight bag to bring to not have to tote all our luggage down the ramp/steps. That worked perfect. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to anyone looking. P.S. I set my alarm to catch the sunrise and I’m so thankful I did. It was beautiful.

Our stay on the houseboat
Enjoyed every minute. Only thing to mention, couldn't open the oven because of how close the refrigerator was and the bathroom on the lower deck (bedrooms) didn't have a toilet.

I'm a mother of 4 grown kids so it's just myself, my new hubby & our fur babies!

I, Lacey, was just about to wrap up building Bruiser when Tony caught wind of it and just had to come see it for himself. A few months later he proposed to me at Bruiser! And so the story begins! Shortly following was the barn, then houseboat, then camper and most recently the purchase of more water front property for even more rentals located just moments before the bus and boat!

Hoo-Rah!

Why they chose this property

Why not???

What makes this property unique

It is a 2 story houseboat!
