Utter disaster

The host informed me THE MORNING OUR STAY BEGAN that the property was “listed in error” and was not available. We had another similar house from a competitor (rhymes with Pair B-M-P) that we had considered that was a similar location but, thanks to the late notice, it was already booked. We had to scramble to find a house that could accommodate us which ended up being a much worse location. All I got from VRBO was a half hearted apology and a refund. I have shared this story as widely, and you can bet your tuchus that neither I nor any of my friends and family will l be booking with VRBO in the future and will instead be sending our business to the aforementioned competitor.
