This very inviting cottage stands on an extensive plot of land just 400 meters from the historic Sword Beach, which served as an Allied landing site in 1944. It faces south and scores with a cozy and very pleasant interior. On hot summer days, the many openings on the veranda provide pleasant ventilation. Characteristic for the region are extensive sandy beaches with optimal conditions for bathers and water sports enthusiasts. The same applies to vacationers interested in history, who in June, for example, have the opportunity to participate in the memorial ceremonies in honor of the soldiers who died in Normandy during World War II. Caen 22 km, Bayeux with its cathedral and its famous tapestry 30 km. The owners will show you the little path that will take you to the beach in just 5 minutes.

A Brilliant Holiday experience

The cottage and it's surroundings were lovely the cottage was clean and comfortable the owner was a very helpful man and very quick to resolve an issue we had with a kettle that went wrong (one of those things that can't be helped) .The garden was lovely and also well maintained,the view when sitting in garden was a large cornfield with poppies in Very fitting for the area , Brilliant holiday cottage, brilliant place easy walking distance of beach , supermarket, and places too eat at which we found lovely also so we are going back next year hopefully would recommend to anyone
