Welcome and get ready to enjoy being Lost on Purpose! This brand new, 5-bedroom home is perfectly appointed for a luxury escape to Wisconsin's Northwoods! This newly constructed home is the perfect destination with accommodations for up to 16 guests and all of the amenities of home while vacationing at the lake. Lost on Purpose features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with cathedral ceilings, granite countertops, a gas fireplace, a walk-in pantry, and stunning hickory cabinets.

Five bedrooms provide room to spread and privacy. The owner’s suite, with a king bed and attached bathroom, is conveniently located on the main level. A second bedroom, with a queen bed, is also on the main level. Three additional bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the second floor.

The lower level rec room has been finished with entertaining and comfort in mind. A wet bar, ice-maker fridge, microwave, and dishwasher make entertaining and pouring drinks a breeze. There’s also a full bathroom. Should it rain while you’re enjoying the Northwoods, a full-size, stand-up arcade with over 4,000 games will provide entertainment until the rain stops. A full-size ping pong table, bag toss (cornhole), puzzles, and books are also available. If you’re visiting in the winter, your family will appreciate the in-floor radiant heat in the lower level to keep everything nice and warm. The lower level exits to the lakefront under the deck above.

Explore Lost Lake by kayaks, a rowboat, or a paddle boat provided at the property to get you and your guests paddling the scenic lakefront in no time! A new aluminum pier with composite decking is available for fishing and parking a boat. At the end of the evening enjoy a cocktail in the 3-season screened porch or around the fire pit taking in the starry Northwood night.

A whole-house generator ensures you’ll be comfortable, with HVAC and appliances running, in the event of a power outage.

Lost Lake is a popular fishing destination with over 544 acres to explore and enjoy. Muskie, bass, and walleye are just some of the fish frequently reeled in by boat or fishing right from the pier! Ice fishing is equally popular with many watching tip-ups from the comfort of their vacation rental. Winter snowmobiling in the Northwoods should be on everyone's bucket list. Lost on Purpose has direct access to the snowmobile trail that connects to over 500+ miles of trail throughout Vilas County.

Family stay

Our family enjoyed our stay. The four bathrooms were very helpful for our family. We also liked the deck, which provided a safe place for the kids to be while not on the lake. The flat back yard also provided safe play area for the little ones.

Mid-week snowmobile trip

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time renting from Hiller...overall good experience however a few specific items for feedback:- Parking was not accurately portrayed or wrong information given...I specifically asked if there was room for 3 trucks each w a two place snowmobile trailer; there was not adequate room to park at the property.- Asked about a coffee maker provided (yes) but no coffee filters to be found(didn’t say to bring own)- Strange no salt/pepper but plenty of ketchup and mustard packets and straws- Television instructions did not work, we had to screen mirror our personal streaming service from our iPads to the tv- Two windows on the screened in porch came down and have the screens exposed (maybe due to Tuesdays cold), you probably want to get someone over to check these before the next snow storm arrives.- Does not make sense you don’t provide bath and hand towels when bedding and shower towel mats are provided.- Furniture assembly needs fine tuning. Should not have to tighten loose chairs -Beds are hard and not able to fit above average height individuals ( <6’ tall)Items that were good:View was great on Lost LakeWiFi service handled the streaming we had to do Easy access to the snowmobile trailOverall good for a getaway trip if you are renting snowmobiles and not bringing your own with a trailer.
