About this property

With the pool and the beach literally mere steps from the front porch, this villa ¨Dulces Suenos¨ (Sweet Dreams) in Vista Ocotal Resort is aptly suited for a relaxing vacation for a larger family or various couples vacationing together.

The master bedroom has its own balcony and features a queen size bed, one of the guest rooms has a queen size bed and the other two guest rooms feature double beds, to cater to a maximum of eight persons (no special facilities for young children in the house). There is ample closet space. All bedrooms have blackout curtains perfect for a good night's sleep.

The large, well-equipped kitchen is part of a large open concept living space, with a nice living/dining area. The high ceilings add to the feeling of grandeur. Of course, all the rooms feature air conditioning and it goes without saying that WiFi internet is available, as is a choice of local and international (English language) TV channels. The unit has an indoor washer/dryer.

We have carefully furnished and decorated our home in a way that we hope will be welcoming and comfortable to our (and your) guests.

Guests of Dulces Suenos at Vista Ocotal not only have access to their own pool and rancho (outdoor charcoal grill w/seating) area, they can use the facilities of the Ocotal Beach Club on the beach of Ocotal and the Club facilities in Coco Bay Estates (with a large pool, tennis courts, fitness and exercise equipment center and restaurant). There are several restaurants nearby that are excellent, as well as many more in Playa del Coco.

¨Dulces Suenos¨ at Vista Ocotal offers you all the ingredients for a wonderful and memorable vacation in very comfortable surroundings. The Liberia airport is approximately 35 minutes away. Our property manager can assist you with rental cars, reservations with restaurants or activities, obtaining a private chef -- all you have to do is ask. Renting a car will give you the freedom to explore Costa Rica. You´ll surely love your stay.

Nice Beach house with great pool

Very very nice but no gaz barbecue. We had to ask for it and had to pay an extra for it. No electricity for one day so the gaz barbecue was very useful that day, try to boil water for coffee on a charcoal barbecue, it would take hours… Food is very expensive in Costa Rica, be prepared to pay two times the prices in Montreal and in USD.

Beautiful week at Vista Ocotal

Wonderful roomy 4 bedroom townhouse with nice furnishings and decor. Beautuful setting with lots of wildlife! We had a family of monkeys on a tree next door. We rented a golf cart and were able to go lots of places. On site pool was very nice. The Beach club in playa de cocoa was lovely and had a wonderful restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owner was a great communicator and kept us dated and very well informed.

Beautiful villa

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. We were steps away from the pool, a short walk from a delicious restaurant and wonderful black sand beach. The hosts were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the process.

For many years, the owners traveled and continue to travel, all over the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America exploring and scuba diving, 8 years of that time, utilizing timeshare exchanges. During our travels, we were looking for a good place to purchase a property in a beautiful area, near the ocean, in a clean environment with a stable government. Once we came to Costa Rica, we knew we had found what we were looking for. We believe that you will enjoy your stay in this lovely area.

Why they chose this property

Vista Ocotal is a small, private community located "one block back" from the beach in a quiet, family environment with a large pool, gathering area and beautiful garden areas. Yet, Playas del Coco is only 2 km. away which has grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife and a large beachfront park. The Liberia airport is only a 35 - 45 minutes drive from the property.

Father Rooster's is a popular beach front restaurant just a short walk across the street.

There are a number of local attractions -- fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, Diamante (an ecopark that has the longest zipline in Costa Rica) and much more.

A rental car is recommended to assist you in having the freedom to explore nearby areas and attractions, as well as giving you the freedom to come and go as you please. Our property manager, Eric Duranton, will gladly assist you in making arrangements for airport pick-up, rental cars, ready made or customized tours, etc. All you have to do is ask.

What makes this property unique

As a guest at Vista Ocotal, you will have access to two other properties -- the Ocotal Beach Club has an infinity pool and is at the beach (very near Father Roosters). Coco Bay Estates is very close by and gives access to an even larger pool, a fitness facility, tennis courts and a restaurant.

Our property manager, Eric Duranton, can assist with car rentals, tours and day adventures. He can also arrange for private chef services and more. All you have to do is ask!
