Short drive to Asheville- perfect for what I was looking for : ) I travelled up from Florida during a recent cold snap, so the electric fireplace insert was a super welcome surprise! Will come back! Michelle

Quiet Retreat

The space was cozy and clean. Jason was communicative and inviting. The location was a little difficult to get rides from, but I think that was do to ride share shortages. Overall, a great place to stay.

Nice Place

The space is large and nicely lit. With a good size reasonably firm bed. Couch is comfortable and TV worked well. There was room for me to stretch-out and do my daily yoga exercises. Nice views of mountain from the back and front. Nice to have the wood panelling and small walk-in closet. Bathroom takes a bit to get use to, as toilet area is raised and not too big. Nice deep tub and is a bit high up. Overall clean, nicely furnished and spacious. Host was friendly and helpful.

Affordable and Great Location for an Asheville Trip!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was about 18-20 minutes to most things in Asheville, but there were also plenty of food options close by if we weren't feeling like driving. It was clean and well taken care of. Because it is a private suite, we were able to hear the host (and I'm sure they were able to hear us at times), which is something to keep in mind.

Lived in Asheville for 7 years now and I love it here! I work for a local non profit focusing on animal health and welfare. I often take advantage of the Asheville live music and foodie scene. I love to hike at the Bent Creek Experimental Forest and take advantage of the neighborhood barbell gym. My favorite summer activity is just floating the river on a tube.

Why they chose this property

This property is very convenient to downtown, west Asheville, and i40. The wood walls, floor, and ceiling beams give you that cabin feel with the convenience of nearby city amenities. The one large room with high ceilings makes the space feel much bigger than it is. You will enjoy the little spaces within the space. It's a normal friendly neighborhood and very quiet at night after traffic settles down.

What makes this property unique

Central HVAC with the ability to adjust within your space by using the window AC if I'm not keeping it cold enough, or an electric heater if you like it warmer than I do. On a clear day you can see mountains out of the back window. Plenty of yard to stretch your legs in just watch out for groundhog (whistle pig) holes.
