The Apple TV in the living area will allow you to relax and catch up on Netflix, Hulu, and more while WiFi will keep you connected to the outside world. Enjoy access to the community pool, gym, and laundry facility. Turn in for the night on a Tempurpedic mattress and rest your eyes in cozy Egyptian cotton sheets. Cozy getaway

We loved staying at Shafer’s place! She was very easy and quick with communication! Every detail was thought of. And we REALLY enjoyed the adult only pool!! Such a nice getaway!

Great place to stay!

My wife and I and our pups had a great stay. Everything was as described. The RV is very clean and really nice inside. Can't wait for another get away to our new favorite place to stay when in Lubbock!

I'm a local entrepreneur who lives and works in Lubbock, Tx and my better half works for the State of Texas. We love our English Bulldog, our Bernese Mountain dog, and our Texas Tech Red Raiders. We own two companies here in Lubbock and are working hard to create a life we are proud of. In our off time, we love to travel, see new places, and try new foods. We hope you enjoy our little home away from home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

I bought this RV in a transition period of my life and decided that it was time to gut it and renovate. I parked it at The Retreat RV Park not far from where we live and have redone essentially everything on the inside. We love to travel and see new things but with two dogs, it's not always easy to hop on a plane and head to the east coast. So, our goal is to renovate Camp Mukewater and take our little family on the road. While we aren't traveling, you get the joy of staying in our little humble abode. We hope you enjoy the relaxation of being tucked away in the back of the RV park, the numerous amenities, and the proximity to campus, downtown, and the ever-growing south Lubbock!

What makes this property unique

As unconventional as you might think, staying at Camp Mukewater definitely has it's benefits. The outdoor patio space is something you won't find in a hotel room. The pool and fitness center is something you don't always get when renting a home. And once inside, Camp Mukewater, really transforms to it's own little mini farmhouse!
