weekend ski trip

We were a group of 5 adults and one baby. The accomodations were perfect for us and we appreciated the Pack-n-play and booster seat for the baby. The adult who slept in the loft alcove found it comfortable and sufficiently private. Communications with the host were excellent. She responded almost immediately to our questions. Both the downhill and cross-country skiing were great.

Competitive pricing but very tired/dirty apartment

I stayed at this property a couple years ago and it has definitely not been taken care of. We could tell that this property was very tired/dirty. It feels like they use it only as a rental and the only people that actually see it other than the renters are cleaners that do a very quick/poor job. The fireplace doesn’t work and it’s just a decoration. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and the microwave would intermittently work. It’s worth paying a little extra to get a property that is in better shape and cared for better. Also, the apartment is challenging to find in the dark, so if you end up renting this property, I highly recommend looking at a map online before you go.

Great condo for our time in Elkhorn!

We really enjoyed staying at this Elkhorn condo! Its proximity to the wonderful pool was a big hit with our kids. The listing was accurate and Ann G. was incredibly prompt with all correspondence. We had a great stay!

Enjoyed our stay in Sun Valley

We had a great time in Sun Valley. The condo was in a great (quiet) location, it was very clean with great accommodations. The only negative is the upstairs bed mattress was not comfortable and the pool and other property facilities were closed.

We're an avid ski family based out of Boulder, Colorado. This is our first vacation rental and we hope that you'll find our condo in Elkhorn Village to be a great home away from home for your family/group as it is for us. We love having our morning coffee and meals on the deck. It's also a great spot to dive into vacation or work reading. You can keep an eye on kids playing on the lawn down below as well as enjoy seasonal views of aspens, Bald Mountain, and our neighborhood pond.

Why they chose this property

We love the 360 degree views of this area and while our location is peaceful and secluded from the liveliness of downtown Ketchum, we are just a 20 minute bike ride from a multitude of dining and shopping options in-town. The Community Library in Ketchum is one of our favorites in the area. You don't have to be a resident to enjoy their gorgeous facilities or check out materials. You should definitely take advantage should you visit for a week or longer.

What makes this property unique

Elkhorn Village also has amazing paths that connect right to the Wood River Trail, a 20+ mile paved, multi-use, year-round path that provides a connection between the Wood River Valley communities of Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley. The Sun Valley Resort is also super close and we highly recommend the breakfast or brunch over at Konditorei. We're big into food and Konditorei's omelets are tops! Finally, we love being able to walk right to the community pool and hot tub. My 8 year old son said that it's 42 steps away! Let us know if his count is accurate!
