This stylish old building, framed by a well-tended garden with hedge roses and frieze wall, offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday. In contrast to the many faceless and historic new buildings on the island, this house has a long tradition. Already in 1929 it was built on the former eastern outskirts of Kampen and then operated as a pension for many decades - under the well-known name "House of Drathen". After some renovations, four holiday apartments are still rented, making it one of the last traditional guesthouses. Incidentally, this building as well as a number of other houses in the village a few years ago under protection - a traceable step, because the entire clinker facades and the front door are original.
