Formerly called High Country Chalet, Elks Meadow is nestled in the picturesque and highly desirable Crockett's Meadow in Maggie Valley—only five miles from the Cataloochee Ski Area and five miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park—and features stunning mountain views. Crockett's Meadow is a serene neighborhood, and the surrounding cabins, each with their own unique charm, accent the view. ✦Seasonally Decorated✦

The cabin has three bedrooms: two with plush king-sized beds, and one with a queen and a twin day bed, all wrapped in high-quality linens, and plenty of space to stow away your luggage. The main bedroom also features an exposed wood ceiling, an electric fireplace for added ambiance, and direct access to a full bathroom. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and share a sizable second bathroom with a tub-shower combo (towels are provided). The kitchen has a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. The deck has a new HOT TUB and a gas grill.

Each bedroom has its own TV. (In total, there are four TVs in the home—two with Rokus and YouTube TV throughout). Stay connected with reliable high-speed Wifi throughout the entire house. We provide a "starter kit" of toilet paper and paper towels. There is plenty of parking in front of the home and easy paved access to the entrance. Board games, a PlayStation 4, and a pack-n-play are also available. You'll also have access to a washer and dryer, which is incredibly convenient for extended stays.

Please include in the notes if you are bringing a dog. A separate, one-time fee of $75 will be added onto your reservation.

Christmas Vacation

The cabin was very comfortable and had everything to make you feel right at home. We went snow tubing and our son and family went skiing for the first time. Enjoyed how quite the community was. We loved seeing all the elk just roaming around. Finished are vacation off by going to Joey's pancake house. Everything we had was delicious. This was our first time visiting this area and would love to return.

This cabin is beautiful and has everything you need to feel right at home. Such beautiful views of the mountains, jacuzzi time well spent, and relaxing by the fireplace in the cozy recliners made our stay unforgettable.

Girl's weekend

Group of ladies I graduated HS with 20+ years ago take an annual trip together. House/location was perfect. We enjoyed having the use of the kitchen for meals, big comfy couch for sitting around catching up on life and watching TV together, and the use of the hot tub and sunrise views. Conveniently located to visit Cherokee Casino and Bryson City, both day trips we made. Definitely a favorite to save for future visits.

Sisters Getaway

I spent a few days here with my four sisters and my adult niece. It was a lovely house in a very nice neighborhood. It met all of our needs as far as space and amenities. We also loved the decor. We would highly recommend it.

Fun Weekend Away

We had a great little stay at this house. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy, they had a pack and play, which was awesome and meant we didn't have to pack our own. Kitchen is well stocked, house was very clean, hot tub was fun, great location close to the main road and to Tubing World, which was our main destination for our trip.

Stayed in town for a truck show

We’ve stayed in this neighborhood for Southeast Mini Nationals and its prime location. This was our first time staying at this property and it was great. Very good communications with the property manager, they even called to check if some illegally parked vehicles were ours(they weren’t) because they didn’t want us to get towed. I would definitely stay here again

This property was well equipped with all necessities. The hot tub was very much used after a full day of skiing. Great location, near restaurants and a short drive to the ski area. Highly recommend.
