Never got into location

Me and my family were one hour away from checking in I called the number listed by the host no answer so I text the answered back to tell me they have no idea about the listing I’m talking about . I called Vrbo the agent called the owner she answered told the man she forgot to cancel the request mins you she already collected my $800 now Vrbo goes ahead and tells me they could put us in a hotel for the night but the rest of the vaca was on me. They put us in a 2 start hotel that had holes on the sheet door hair all types of just messed up things. This experience really was unjust
