Things to Know

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Assateague House 505 is a beautiful condo and we love everything about it❗️ Our only concern was that when we entered it on the first day of our vacation, we discovered that the previous occupants had left it filthy and in complete disarray. We contacted Vacasa multiple times via text and phone calls, but received no response as to if/when cleaning services would be provided. After hours of waiting for someone from Vacasa to contact us, we had no recourse but to clean the condo ourselves. I have sent multiple texts and e-mails (with pictures) to Vacasa, and have made multiple phone calls to Vacasa, and I’m still awaiting a response regarding Vacasa’s decision on a fair resolution to the situation we had to deal with on the first day of our vacation.

This place is located so conveniently to everything downtown O.C. The view is amazing! Love working with Vacasa now vs prior group. This is the 10th year we’ve stayed at 505 and it never disappoints.

Amazing Views, Perfect Spot.

This was the absolute perfect spot for our family of six. The beautiful two bedroom condominium was nestled between the assawamic bay and the Atlantic ocean. Absolutely amazing views, the place was extremely clean and fully loaded with plenty of the amenities as well as extras such as laundry detergent, extra linens, and plenty of kitchenware. The host was great with communication, the property was exactly as described, the location is literally at the beginning of the Ocean City Boardwalk where the ferris wheel and amusement park Playland is located. This is the perfect spot for a family, couples, or even friends getting away for a short stay. We truly enjoyed this and would love to return to this exact Resort in the future!!!! The ocean/ bay breeze was perfect and we were in walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk of course.
