Riverside Lodge is your ticket to a summer of adventure and relaxation.

Summertime is Family Reunion Vacation time: The Muskegon river offers an invitation to a world of adventure; kayaking, tubing, and fishing start off the bottom step. The tree shaded deck is all about relaxation; enjoying the quiet with a good book, or talking to friends and family. Riverside Lodge is located near the end of a quiet, private road, the lodge has a spacious, vaulted great room with a view of the river. The huge deck has table seating for fourteen, comfortable chairs in a shady gathering area, and loungers to soak in the sun or wave at the tubers floating by.

The views on the river at sunset are amazing as is watching the wildlife - ducks, geese, a pair of herons, and the occasional eagle. Family and pet friendly with a large fenced in yard. And in the evenings, enjoy your movies in the upstairs theater or sitting around a bonfire in the firepit. . Our kitchen is fully outfitted to feed a large group with indoor table seating for up to 16 people.

Riverside Lodge is a seasonal vacation home, which opens the week before Memorial Day and ends before October.

Family Summer Vacation

The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our family of 10 to have space. The kids loved the movie room. It was a perfect location for all of our day trips. Thank you.

Great River front property and dog friendly

This house had the perfect layout and was the perfect size for our party. All of my vacations revolve around my dogs, I can not say how thrilled I was that you permitted us to bring 2 dogs. They had the best time ever! They loved the river just as much as we did! We enjoyed the kayaks you supplied and we also brought our own river tubes. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The fenced in area is great for dogs that like to roam, I have to say we did not use that much as our dogs just hung out on the deck and in the river with us, but definitely a nice to have for dog owners. Communication with owners was also very easy and timely. We would rent this property again! Thanks for a great week, the weather was perfect too!

The Riverside Lodge is Amazing!

This is the second year we rented this house. Our family loves it! It is an amazing location, the lodge is perfect for our family, and the hosts are wonderful. We look forward to making more amazing memories next year!

Amazing House

House was awesome, clean, spacious, best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed in, you thought of everything! Would very highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, carefree vacation rental. View of the river from the deck was relaxing and beautiful, we saw a Bald Eagle almost every day. Could not have asked for more!! Loved the kitchen and dining area, great room was perfect for game night and hanging out together. Fenced yard gave us peace of mind and a little freedom for our toddler granddaughter. Was a wonderful, memorable vacation with our adult children and our granddaughter.

We have traveled a lot, and lived in many places (both coasts and now in the middle). We have come to find our home in Holland, Michigan. We live in a city which is a tourist destination for many people. The lake, the Dutch heritage, the arts and activities abound near our home. The River Lodge is the place we go to regenerate.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the deck and the river. The misty, quiet mornings and warm sunny days on the river. The view from the deck is the same but the sights are constantly changing.

What makes this property unique

There is so much to do on the river or in the area. The two Michigan rails-to-trails cross in nearby Reed city and the Pere Marquette trail passes by on the opposite bank upstream. Hunting and Fishing are big activities locally along with kayak and tub rental services.
Yet there is nothing you have to do. Reading, thinking, watching the birds, or just experiencing nature's calm refreshes the soul.
