Born and raised in Montana, lived in Alaska for 15 years, lived in Mexico for 4 years, live in Arizona for 26 years. We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
I always had the urge to travel, I went to Russia several times when they first opened up to westerners, traveled to Moskow, St Petersburg, Ukraine, Kalmykia, Sakhalin Islands, Vladivostok, I walked across the frozen river from Russia to China,
Moved straight from Alaska to Mexico. Planted roots in Arizona and then branched out from there. We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren

Why they chose this property

Traveled Mexico, Central America, & the Caribbean looking for the perfect place to retire someday, it needed Ocean, semi tropical, perfect climate, affordable, and the friendliest people. We found it all on our first trip to Ecuador in 2006 and established roots there. This place checked all the boxes for me and my wife.

What makes this property unique

With the sound of the waves makes I relax so much and let go of all my stress from my work. The climate is perfect year-round, the local people are the kindest and friendliest people I ever met in all of my travels. The local bars and restaurants in the town of Montanita are unique and diverse.
