Our apartment is located in a listed eclectic building from the 19th Century in the VI. District (Terézváros) on a quieter side street of Boulevard Andrássy út., Not far from the Oktogon square.
Many sights such as opera, music academy, St.-Stephan's Basilica, Heroes' Square with the Museum of Fine Arts, Kunsthalle and Széchenyi Bad, Café New York, House of Terror and Westbahnhof. Numerous bars and restaurants e.g. B. Liszt Ferenc Square and shops of all kinds are in the immediate vicinity. The Oktogon square is crossed by the large ring road that connects the city in a semicircle from the Margaret Bridge to the Petofi Bridge. Trams 4 and 6 run here. The old subway train M1 (opened in 1896 as the first subway train with an electric drive on the continent), which runs from the Danube towards Heldenplatz, also runs here.
The apartment is on the slightly higher ground floor and has a kitchen, a bathroom and a living-dining room. On a gallery, which can be reached via a comfortable staircase, there is another bathroom and the sleeping area with two beds.
Access to the house and apartment is via a chip or Code system so that arrival is possible at any time of the day or night. We rent the apartment from 3 nights. The rental price includes three towels and bed linen per person. For the final cleaning we charge 18 euros.
The entrance area of the house is in a state of renovation. This area is also expected to be renovated in spring / summer 2018.
