About this property

This home has two living areas that include large TV's, a dining room to seat 10 guest, two gas fire places, front porch perfect for your morning coffee, and a side patio to enjoy a fire under the East Texas sky. This home sits in the middle of many destinations including the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier, the fabulous shopping of Jefferson, water recreation on Lake of the Pines, best fishing on Caddo Lake, more shopping in Longview, and Marshall is 15 minutes away with everything you would need for your stay. This home sits on 2 acres, leaving plenty of space for kids to run free, and also offers enough space for boat parking along with multiple cars.

We also have an additional rental space on the property. You can contact us to book both homes. The Shipping Container sleeps an additional 4 guests. It will be available, starting January 26th.

Short Term Stay

I loved this house and the location! My husband and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary. The house "The Ole Lady" is beautiful and had everything we needed. I hope that we can return again soon. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable! M. Osborne

Charming and Cozy

Everything as described. Our full schedule didn’t allow us to enjoy it as much as we would’ve liked, but we slept well and it has all you need! We will definitely stay again when we return to the area. Prompt and friendly communication with the host.

Loved everything about this property. We celebrated Thanksgiving with family from Galveston.

Would definitely come back! Loved the fire pit and the living area was gorgeous and super comfortable! Excellent property for family!

Cute property

Beautiful property. Loved the front porch. Had everything we needed. Would have loved to have used the firepit, but it rained the whole stay. Would stay there again!

Felt like home

It was an amazing weekend. We took a mini vacation to visit my daughter who is stationed at Barksdale AFB. We had home cooked meals, watched movies, played games and had a chance to complete a 400 piece puzzle. All courtesy of our hosts. Even the dogs were happy. It was great. Stress free.
