This apartment is an easy 10-minute walk to the beach. While the listing notes that there are no linens/towels, they also do not include toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, bags, or any seasonings in the kitchen (this information is shared in a welcome guide just before arrival). There is a nearby Food Lion which has all the essentials, but not having this information ahead of time made it hard to plan.
Unfortunately, our main complaint is that host has attempted fraudulently charge us for damages/theft (including stealing items from a locked closet that we could not access). Not only these accusations false, but the host did not provide an itemized list of the damages and did not provide any proof that we were responsible. We have consequently contested this charge with Vrbo.
We have never experienced this sort of behavior from a host on any platform prior and the unit was otherwise fine - indeed, this incident ruined an otherwise enjoyable trip. To save yourself any future grief though, we DO NOT recommend staying here.
