Some fifty years ago, a New York businessman embarked on a labor of love – creating a stylish and comfortable home in Jamaica that melded the most innovative thinking in contemporary design with the special characteristics of this hillside, ocean-view property. He named it for his wife, Rosa.

Now, new owners have fully renovated Villa Rosa, carefully preserving vintage architectural bones and unique features such as the “floating” staircase – while introducing ultra-modern luxurious bathrooms, outdoor tubs and showers, sleek bar and kitchen, media room and up-to-date technology, spa and workout spaces.

The bed & bathrooms at Villa Rosa are distinctive in featuring expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass, with doors that open to bring the outdoors in. Don’t be alarmed! At the press of a button, sun/moonshades lower to keep out light and curious eyes.
