About this property

Attention::: the first two weeks of Aprils pricing is for the total lunar eclipse. 3 night minimum. Breakfast and Dinner is included. This is Our Bed and Breakfast. This is an ADULT ONLY establishment. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our charming little farm. Where Us and our Dogs, Cat, and Chickens live here.. We’ll be sharing it with you(Dogs and Cat). We’ll give you as much Privacy as we can. Be sure to bring your cocktails and snacks, and your dinner stuff because there isn’t any place very close to eat.
We have Parking for fishing boats, a screened in front porch, 4ft fire pit, covered hot tub, a pool (in the summer), and free fishing on property.
We’re 5 miles away from Patoka Lake Marina and Park. Where there is lots of recreational things to do(swim,trails,hunt, and fish). We also have 3+ wineries, a Dollar General and a couple of gas stations (convenient stores) nearby. There is lots of things to do around the area, if your willing to drive a little bit. French Lick Casino, Go Carts, Putt Putt Golf, Holiday World theme park, and a drive through Safari.
We’ll cook you a Great Big Breakfast to start your full day of things you’ll be doing, or to just relax in or around our Hilltop Hideaway.

Homestay

This listing is a Homestay. Guests use the same entrance as the hosts and share the kitchen, living room, and the eating area with the hosts. Guests do have their own bedroom and bathroom, but the walls are thin. The hosts seemed nice, but privacy is minimal.

Heaven on earth

My husband and I stayed a week at Hilltop Hideaway with our hosts. We enjoyed every minute there! Our room was charming. The bath was well stocked with soft towels. We spent the majority of time in the pool. So relaxing. Both Shannon and Karrie cook awesome breakfast. I spent some time learning about their chickens and most of the wildlife around. I cant say enough about Shannon and Karrie. They are such caring and considerate hosts. We cannnot forget to mention their security staff. The pets. Chief, Seagram, Gus and Tezzy. They do an exemplary job! You cant go wrong staying with them!

Hospitality at its Finest

We enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway. It was very easy to get to and close to Lake Patoka, where we were boating for the day. It was a nice place to come back to and relax for the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and watching Shannon and his wife fish in their small pond at the bottom of the property. It was fun seeing all of their animals and learning about the care of the chickens. We learned some new things we did not know about. We appreciated all the little extras in the bathroom. They made us feel very welcome and we appreciate them sharing their home with us.

Shannon & Karrie were accommodating hosts! They made the stay comfortable and it felt like being at home. Beautiful property and loved the hot tub! I would absolutely recommend 10/10 and breakfast was wonderful!
